About Poop Hunter

A Local Business with a Purpose (and a Pooper Scooper)

Hi, I’m the owner of Poop Hunter—and I didn’t always expect to be talking about dog poop for a living. But life has a funny way of leading us exactly where we’re meant to be.

For years, I dreamed of starting my own business. I wanted something honest, helpful, and rooted in the community. When I recently lost my job, that dream suddenly became more than just a “someday” idea—it became a mission. That moment gave me the push I needed to build something real, practical, and needed: a service that helps busy pet owners reclaim their yards and their time.

That’s how Poop Hunter was born.

Why Choose Poop Hunter

Poop Hunter isn’t just about scooping poop—it’s about serving people. We’re here to make your life a little easier, your yard a lot cleaner, and your weekends completely free of plastic bags and frustration.

We show up when we say we will. We close your gate every time—and send you a photo confirmation, so you don’t have to worry about your dog’s safety. And we offer flexible cleanup schedules that fit your needs, whether that’s weekly, bi-weekly, or just a one-time rescue mission before that backyard BBQ.

Our Promise to You

At Poop Hunter, we believe in hard work, honest service, and treating every yard with the care we’d give our own. When you hire us, you’re not just checking a task off your list—you’re supporting a local business that’s invested in your community.

We promise to:

  • Show up on time

  • Respect your space and your pets

  • Keep gates locked, lawns clean, and schedules consistent

  • Communicate clearly, with updates and photo confirmations

This isn’t just a side hustle—it’s our full-time mission to keep your lawn clean and your home safer and healthier for your pets and family.

Absolutely! Poop Hunter uses pet-safe practices ALWAYS. It starts off with great communication. You will know when we are about to arrive so there are no surprises. Our equipment and our shoes are disinfected with kennel-grade disinfectant after every home visit to make sure we don’t transfer disease or pathogens between jobs. When we finish scooping the poop, we’ll text you to let you know that your yard is poop free and include a photo of your closed/locked gate (if applicable).
